With all the talk in the scietific and popular media about predicted warmings by a certain year, it's easy to become confused. Some reports don't even distinguish between the Centigrade and Fahrenheit scales!
Here is how to convert a Centigrade rise to the equivalent Fahrenheit rise: Just multiply the degree C number by 1.8 to get degrees Fahrenheit. (The 1.8 factor is the 9/5 ratio of temperature increments on the two scales.)
For example - a 2 degree C warming is the same as a 3.6 deg. F increase.
